Vlad's Niece

On a cool spring morning the Demon Ninja guards patrolling their compound's gates notice a girl coming toward them from out of the foggy woods. They scramble to the main gate and stop her. Seven guards surround her and one states, "Who are you? This is Demon/Fire ninja territory young lady. If you have business here, state it now or be on your way." The girl is dressed in green and purple. Her reddish/orange hair hangs over her face which is partially covered by a green mask. She says, "You don't recognize my Demon insignias or my family colors, you fool!" The chief guard walk to her and says, "You will have to come with me. If you are a Demon ninja, we'll find out. If not you'll have alot of explaining to do." He grabs her by her arm and pulls her. She lashes out and frees herself from his grip and yells, "Get your hands off of me you buffoon. I'm Demon Vlad's niece, Devin. If you touch me again I'll kill you." She marches past the guards and into the compounds courtyard. She looks around and laughs, "Keyoto needs help. This place is a mess."

The security guard leader alerts Erisu of Devin's entrance. Erisu then informs Demon Keyoto and Yellow Demon that Demon Devin is here. Keyoto and YD walk to the courtyard from their head quarters and notice Devin walking into the compound's temple. They follow her. As Keyoto and YD enter they see her studying a few scrolls on the temple's wall. Keyoto says, "Demon Devin! I see you have decided to join us or at least visit us." Devin turns and says, "Good morning Keyoto and Yellow Demon. It's been a long time. I was only 15 when we last met. You haven't changed too much Keyoto. YD, you have become a man I see. I like your choice in masks, it fits well with you family's tradition." Keyoto asks, "Why have you come here. As you know your uncle Vlad was killed in battle late last year. Are you here to join 'your' family?" Devin walks over to a window and sits in it's sill and says, "I'm curious to see how the clan is handling itself. I've heard you almost starved this winter and had to deal with an uprising. I also heard that YD had a nervous breakdown." YD says, "I didn't have a nervous breakdown. My girlfriend Juki was taken prisoner by Yamada and the CM's. All of that is in the past. As you can see we have an alliance with the Fire Ninjas and hold a powerful presence here in this territory." Keyoto adds, "We did have food shortages this winter and we still have random attacks by bandits, but we are getting stronger." Devin chuckles and says, "When did you take this place over." Keyoto says, "We use this compound as our base until we can build a more suitable one. This is the old fort compound of Jungkain. It was abandoned by the CM army in 1995. It had two power generators, a working septic system, seven 100 personal barracks, a cafeteria, this temple, a main headquarters building and a series of offices and even a small jail. It's worked well for us this winter. This building was built in 1960, but it's held up well." Devin says, "So who are the Demon Ninjas now, are you going to introduce the team to me?" Keyoto says, "We shall have an introductory lunch for you today. You shall meet our members and allies."

Devin walks around the compound's courtyard until  lunchtime. The Demon and Fire ninja troops whisper as she walks around the courtyard, all very curious about her presence and her reasons for being here. After a few hours, YD informs Devin that lunch will be held in the main headquarters room now and she is escorted there. As she walks in she notices a large group of individuals assembled. Keyoto asks her to be seated at he "guest" chair of his formal dinning table. Keyoto says, "This, my friends and family, is Demon Devin, the niece of Demon Vlad. She has come to visit our base. I'm happy to see her after many years and I would like to extend my hospitality to her. Her family helped me reform the Demon Ninja clan and Vlad was a brother to me. I couldn't have made it today without him." YD say, "Greetings Devin, I miss your uncle. He was my best friend for many years and taught me many of the skills I know today. I wish he were here to see you." Devin stands and says, "Thank you Keyoto and Yellow Demon." Gen. Hiroto stands and says, "I vaguely remember you. You have indeed become a woman. These are my sons, Erisu and Edosu." Erisu and Edosu stand. Edosu says with enthusiasm, "So you are Vlad's niece. I really admired your uncle. I wish I could have been learned more from him. He was a real mentor to me." Hiroto looks dissatisfied by the comments and says, "We are also joined by Demon Estrada, Juki Wu and Bridgette Shane." Devin looks over at the three and says, "I remember Estrada as a guard on the bridge. I'm glad that you've gotten a job here. Juki Wu, aren't you the one who got captured by Yamada?" Juki looks at Devin crossly and says, "Yamada didn't capture me, Valerie Fox did." Devin replies, "I heard you were on vacation for three months, I hope you accomplished something during at time." YD answers, "We went through alot during that time. She was tormented by Yamada and that scientist Dr. Jang. We needed time to relax and retrain." Devin laughs slightly and says, "Okay, good for you." Hiroto says, "We are also joined by Fire Ninja leader Zanatogi and his girlfriend Zoe Zhen. The rest of his leadership personal are away today." Devin greets them and says while looking at Juki, "I'm glad you have personal that work Mr. Zanatogi.". Keyoto asks the servants to bring in the food and the lunch is underway.

After the lunch is over, Keyoto asks Devin to join him in his war room. Devin follows and sits at a table. Keyoto is seated and asks, "Do you want to join the Demon ninja clan now? To better state this, since you are a Demon by birth, do you want to join our cause? We are growing stronger by the day. The CM leadership has made offers to our clan. We have a real chance to become a real power in the empire." Devin looks around Keyoto's war room and say, "Sure, as you know I trained for several years under my uncle Vlad. My father, Demon Zeus, taught me well too before he died. As you will see, I have become even stronger than you may have realized. I think you'll find my skills very useful. I must ask, who is Juki Wu?" Keyoto says, "She is a superb fighter we recruited last year. Her family lives in the Kogasuma, she joined us to aide in our cause. YD has taken her in and made her a really talented fighter. She withstood over a month of CM captivity. She really proved her loyalty to me during that ordeal. You should learn alot from her." Devin looks at Keyoto crossly and says, "I'm sure I will!" Keyoto stands and say, "Well, I'm glad you are aboard. I'll have a room made up for you. An aide will be assigned to you. I'm glad that Vlad's family is back within the clan again." Devin says, "I'm glad to be here and thank you Keyoto, you will not regret it."

Later that night while Devin is organizing her new room, Edosu shows up and enters. Devin turns to him and says, "Do you just walk in whenever you feel fit? What do you want?" Edosu says, "I'm sorry Demon Devin. I saw the door open and wanted to introduce myself. I was a real fan of you uncle." Devin says, "My uncle is dead." Edosu watches Devin as she unpacks her belongings. He stares at her red hair and curvaceous body. Devin notices Edosu staring at her from a mirror on her wall. She says, "You like the goods?" She turns around and says, "Well, I'm all of what Demon Vlad was plus I have what any man would want too. Just play your cards right Edosu. I think we could be good friends." Edosu is embarrassed and says, "I have to say I am a bit taken by you. You are really beautiful. I vow I will kill Jill Matsmoti for the killing of you uncle." Devin says, "Thanks for being so noble and all. I'm not here to seek revenge on Jill Matsmoti. My uncle died in battle. He was a warrior. If he was killed in cold blood, then I would be out for revenge. I'm more concerned about traders from within this clan." Edosu asks, "What do you mean? We all know one another well, our loyalties have been forged in battle." Devin replies, "I have my mistrust of at least one individual here. When I expose this person for what they are, I'll take my rightful place within the clan."

The following day, Devin visits the gym in the headquarters basement. She uses various equipment while the morning progresses. While Devin is using the punching bag, Juki Wu enters and sits on a mat on the other side of the room. Devin notices Juki's entrance and walks over to her. Juki is stretching on the mat with her eye closes. Devin walks up to her and say, "So I see you're an early riser. Wow, it's almost eleven. Boy, you have a tough life here." Juki looks up with astonishment and barks, "What is up your butt? What have I done to you missy?" Devin fires back, "Missy is it? WHO do you think you're talking to? Wow, I guess you'll just sleep your way to the top. I guess Keyoto is next." Juki becomes enraged and shouts, "You little tramp, you better not provoke me any more. You may know about what happened to me in the CM labs but while I was on vacation, I trained with YD and have developed my skills and have become much stronger. My inner demon is hungry for a victim." Devin snarls, "You are a real fool. Who do you think trained YD the inner demon skills? You idiot. Just try releasing your inner demon and I'll give you the surprise of your life." Juki face continues to become red with anger, her fist shaking as she says, "I'm giving you a last chance to get out of here. I'm warning you, my power is much more then you can conceive." Devin spits in Juki's face and slaps her.

Later YD and Hiroto talk about the Devin/ Juki incident. Hiroto says, "The apple doesn't fall far from the tree. She has Vlad's jealousies and temper. Edosu has really been taken by her. She could be a real bad influence on him I'm afraid. Just let this pass. I guess there would be some trouble with her meeting Juki. You have to admit, Juki has achieved alot since entering the clan. Devin probably thinks she has a birthright to hold a high position within the clan." YD says, "I guess your right. I should have warned Juki about Vlad and any possible trouble Devin could bring. I'll try to mend this fence." Hiroto adds, "Let's not tell the others about this, the last thing Keyoto needs in trouble from within the clan. This will probably all blow over anyway." YD agrees.

Two nights later, Devin knocks on Edosu's door. Edosu opens it and say, "Hey, hello Devin, what do you want?" Devin giggles and says, "I have a little surprise for you." Edosu becomes excited and follows Devin down the hallway. They come to Devin's room and she shuts the door and says, "Have you seen Juki naked?" Edosu looks shocked and says, "Ummm, no." Devin replies, "Well do you want to see her nude? I found a peep hole in the shower room in the gym. She should be done working out soon. What do you say?" Edosu looks around and says, "YD would kill me if he caught me. Juki is a friend..." Devin interrupts, "YD is with Keyoto and Hiroto tonight in the local village. Let's have some fun. This place gets boring very quickly." Edosu says, "Okay, sure, but we have to be very quiet." Devin and Edosu make their way to the gym. Both duck into the boiler room next to the gym. Devin shows Edosu the peep hole. She says, "Just wait there, Juki should come into the showers within a few minutes." Edosu peeps in and says, "I can't believe you found this." Several minutes go by as Devin and Edosu keep a lookout for Juki to arrive. Then Edosu hears the locker room door open and Juki appears. He looks with great interest as she undresses and walk into the shower stall. Devin walks back a few steps and laughs to herself. Edosu whispers, "Wow!" Just as he says that, Devin gently turns the cold water off to the locker room. Within seconds Juki starts screaming as near boiling water shoots over her. Edosu yells to Devin, "What happened, what happened??" Devin yells, "Go in there and rescue her." Edosu runs into the gym and rushes into the lock room to find Juki panting on the floor. She looks up and sees Edosu and yells, "Did you turn that cold water off, I was almost scalded." Juki sees Edosu gawking at her naked body and slaps him. Devin appears quietly and says, "Someone must have flushed a commode. Juki, I guess you have had experience with commodes from your stay at the CM." Juki grabs a towel and hisses, "You monster, you little redheaded monster." Edosu says, "Why are you so angry with Devin? We heard your screams and came to help." Devin adds, "Yes, why are you so mean toward me? I don't want your YD. Chill out!" Juki with anger says, "You better stay away from me little girl. And Edosu, you better stay clear of her too. She'll only bring trouble to us." Juki briskly walks out of the locker room. Edosu says, "Wow, she was really mad. Why did she yell at you?" Devin says, "I guess she was embarrassed and angry. She's given me a real chilly welcome since I've arrived. I guess she considers me as a threat of sorts being a Demon girl by birth." Edosu says, "You know, you may be on to something. She never gave Bridgette Shane any trouble but she wasn't of Demon blood. I hope she doesn't tell YD about this." Devin says while laughing, "I doubt she will. Come along Edosu, lets see what's going on in the village tonight....."
