Shocker Ambush

After several months of waiting, the CM Shockers decide to make a move against a Kogasuma target to advance their profile within the CM. Yamada has demanded a duel with Kogasuma royal ninja, Royal Dragon Juno. Royal Dragon has considered the risks but decides to confront Yamada. The Shockers gather together to plan an ambush on Royal Dragon. They meet in an abandoned mill to discuss this attack. Diablo Batista greets his fellow Shockers, "Greetings my fellow clansmen. We have gathered here to plan this ambush on Royal Dragon. Royal Dragon is planning to confront Yamada near the Felig wooded pathway tomorrow. I've spoken to Yamada concerning this and he agrees it would be a great opportunity to grab him. We could use him as a hostage for our bidding." Zen Hojo says, "Tonata and I have discovered that Royal Dragon plans to bring Eratic and Heidi Dawson with him as backup. He didn't trust Yamada." Batista laughs and says, "Great, even more the merrier." Blaze says, "What should we do with Royal Dragon after we capture him?" Batista says, "We can keep him at this mill until we tell the CLG." Yakenzo asks, " What should we do about Eratic and Dawson?" Shadow Tonata and Batista laugh and say, "They shall both die. They have no importance." Batista adds, "That will add to the urgency of our threats."

Royal Dragon gets on his horse alongside Eratic and Heidi Dawson as he prepares to meet Yamada. Royal Dragon says to Eratic, "I don't trust Yamada. Rex (Peterson) told me that Yamada issues challenges quite often and this could me an ambush. You two better be on your guard." Eratic says while holding Dawson's hand, "We can take care of ourselves. As a youth I helped Rex fight off one of Yamada's ambushes. I think we'll be okay but we'll keep our eyes peeled." Royal Dragon thinks to himself as he sees Eratic and Dawson together, "I wonder if Gina Nackiomi knows of this challenge?" Eratic says, "Have you informed Rex or Black Dragon about this?" Royal Dragon says, "Rex yes, Jamesu no. My brother is busy with helping rebuild that dam the Demon Ninjas destroyed. He would only worry if he knew the risks involved in this duel." Dawson says, "What did Rex say about his challenge?" Royal Dragon says, "He told me to leave if things didn't feel right. If Yamada talks alot and doesn't fight, then he's up to something. I have no problem walking away from him if he's trying to trick me." As he says that, Royal Dragon, Dawson, and Eratic take off down the road.

The following morning, Yamada waits impatiently at the wooded pathway in the Felig. He grumbles, "Where is Royal Dragon. He has the nerve to keep me waiting. I'm eager to meet this 'Royal Dragon'". Yamada sits on a bolder and continues to squawk to himself. Fifteen minutes later, three horsemen arrive and dismount. The leader of this group says, "I understand that you are Commando Massacre master ninja Yamada. I am Royal Dragon Juno Kamihoto." Royal Dragon bows to Yamada. Yamada stands. Royal Dragon adds, "These are my friends Eratic and Heidi Dawson. They are here to watch my back if an ambush had been set." Yamada laughs and says, "You coward. Rex Peterson's chief student is covering his ass with two flunkies. I've heard alot about your skills and hear that you are the son of the Great Dragon." Royal Dragon says, "I am his second son. I have a brother and sister. I learned alot from him before his death." Yamada laughs, "I only fought him once, years ago. His skills were bland at best. He was no 'Great Dragon', now he's just a dead man as you soon will be." Royal Dragon grows angry by the comment and says, "Why do you dishonor a man you hardly knew. You arrogance is of legend. I see I can't speak any reason to you." With that Yamada yells, "Let's go!", as he swings his sword toward Royal Dragon. Royal Dragon blocks it as they jockey for position.

As Eratic and Dawson watch on, Yamada and Royal Dragon leap, wrestle, and punch each other. They roll on the ground as Royal Dragon kicks Yamada's sword from his hands. Yamada gives Royal Dragon a series of upper-cuts to his face which enrages Juno. He fires back with a series of punches and knees to Yamada's midsection. As the fighting between these two continue, Shocker members leap from the forest and attack Dawson and Eratic. Batista, Yakenzo, and Zen Hojo attack Eratic and Blood Moon, Shadow Tonata, and Blaze attack Dawson. Yamada and Royal Dragon look over as this Shocker ambush is revealed. Royal Dragon shouts, "You have no honor. This is an act of cowardice." Yamada laughs as his face is covered in blood, "You're a ninja, correct? Did Rex ever teach you the art of the ambush, that's simple ninjutsu." Royal Dragon simmers and says, "There is honor in all fighting styles. I knew you would attempt this. You're really pathetic." Royal Dragon leaps onto Yamada and strikes him with a series of 'dragon fist' strikes. Yamada squirms as he lie helpless to Royal Dragon's rage.

Diablo Batista sees Yamada being pummeled and rushes to his aide. He grabs Royal Dragon with a huge "bear hug" and pulls him of Yamada. Royal Dragon kicks Batista in his groin. Batista falls over in pain but Yakenzo puts Royal Dragon in a head lock. Yamada manages to get to his feet and puts a sword to Royal Dragon's neck. Yamada says, "Give up kid."

Meanwhile Zen Hojo and Blaze have overpowered Eratic and Blood Moon and Shadow Tonata have overpowered Dawson. Batista stands and sees the three Kogasuma fighters grounded with his Shockers holding them down. Batista grabs Royal Dragon and gives him another super bear hug as he screams, " You failed to stop the Shockers young ninja." Royal Dragon gasps for air as the power of Batista's hold forces the air from his lungs. After a series for crushing holds, Batista flings Royal Dragon to the ground and says, "Tie him up." Zen Hojo asks, "What do we do with these two?", looking at Eratic and Dawson. Yamada shouts, "They must be beaten. They were very foolish to get involved with this dual." Batista roars, "I have a better idea, tie them to those trees and beat them to death." Blaze asks, "Shouldn't we send one of them back to the Kogasuma to inform them of this event?" Batista says, "No, let the Kogasuma find their dead bodies. That will raise the price on Royal Dragon's head." Eratic says, "Let my girlfriend Heidi go. Kill me but let her live." Shadow Tonata barks, "We will be the judges. Since you shot off your mouth, she will die first." Royal Dragon yells as Yakenzo and Blaze tie him up, "Let her go! You monsters, don't you respect women?" Batista punches Royal Dragon. Yamada orders Blood Moon and Blaze to take Royal Dragon to the mill as Batista and the other Shockers deal with Eratic and Heidi Dawson.

As Yamada, Blood Moon, and Blaze leave with Royal Dragon, the remaining Shockers tie Eratic and Dawson to the trees. Eratic squirms with great force, his uniform tearing from the power of his movements. Dawson does the same as Shadow Tonata comes toward her. She howls, "Get away from me you twerp. If you had any guts, you'd free me for a fair fight." Tonata laughs and shoves his bladed knuckles into her guts. She gasps and buckles over. Eratic becomes infuriated and roars with anger, thrashing around from within his binds. Batista and Zen Hojo begin to beat him as he struggles to escape. After a few minutes of beatings, Eratic collapses. Yakenzo picks up a club and beats both the dieing Dawson and bleeding Eratic with it. As the sun hovers high in the sky, Batista yells, "Let's be on our way." The Shockers slowly leave as Eratic wakes in the heat of the sun. He weakly yells for Dawson. All he hears from her before she dies is, "Don't give up, I love you."

Later that night, Yamada and the Shockers meet in the old mill and inform Royal Dragon of Eratic and Dawson's fate. Yamada says to Royal Dragon, "You were foolish to have brought them. They have now died from your actions." Royal Dragon looks up at the group and says, ":You can't expect this will go unanswered. The emperor will send someone for me. Our nations have had a truce for years, why do you want to stir up all this trouble?" Batista says, "Because we are the new face of the CM. The Commando League of Generals have brought a new order to the CM and we, the Shocker clan will be their enforcers. We will be the judge, the jury, and the executioners." Shadow Tonata says, "The Demon Ninja were no match for us and the best of the Kogasuma I see isn't either." Royal Dragon simmer and thinks to himself, "Don't be so sure of yourselves."
