Island Invasion I

Island Invasion I

After many months of fighting, the Commando League of Generals decided to crush the Demon Ninjas on their remote island fortress, Demon Ninja Island. On July 31, 2005, CLG Adams warns Demon Ninja leader Demon Keyoto that if they doesn't surrender, he will face an invasion from CM forces. Keyoto ignores the call and prepares his clan for an invasion, knowing the CLG are going to invade no matter what offers they give. Meanwhile within the CM, the CLG have named Dr. Qwo, 65, as a replacement to Adm. Mertz who was assassinated on July 29. This action infuriates many on the CM elite forces, especially Jill Matsmoti, who was asked to capture him twice only to have the leaders release him months later. The CM elites slowly distance themselves from the ruling CLG as these events occur.

On August 9, CLG Adams, Millberg, and Yoder decide to head the invasion for their mission to Demon Ninja Island. An army of 40,000 troops and seven battleships are assembled over the following week. The only CM elite forces asked to accompany the force are the new Shocker III clan and Zen Hojo. Hojo is later reassigned to hunt down Yamada after his is freed from a remote jail. After Adams, Millberg ,and Yoder leave for the mission on August 11, CLG leader Guyers decided to make more overtures to the family of former CM Lord Zang, which further angers supporters of former Lord Hamuru. On August 16, Guyers makes a "last plea" for peace by asking Keyoto to sign an agreement that he would give up his claim on his homelands. Keyoto never replies.

On August 18, Adams official orders the invasion of Demon Ninja Island as the CLG/CM forces surround the island. Keyoto has spent nearly six weeks preparing his island with barricades, traps, beach trenches, and fire pits to stop any invading force. Gen. Hiroto informs him that he has about 18,000 troops in total and three battleships. Keyoto and Hiroto plan in detail their defense strategy.

By August 19, nearly the whole northern coast of the island was engulfed in the battle. Erisu and Edosu lead the defense forces as the CM forces landed ashore. A pirate warship, as well as a CM warship patrolled the southern area of the island. The Demons easily struck down the CM invaders at every attempt they made. Keyoto remained wary of the pressure from the north, thinking his defenses had to remain up all over the island. Keyoto wanted to keep his top troops ready near the center of the island, in case the CM forces get further inland.

By August 22, Erisu had reported that his forces were now being attacked from the west and reports from the south of the island indicate another invasion was occurring there as well. Furthermore, the CM had begun firing rockets onto the island. Many of the early rockets only landed within the jungle, several had hit Demon forces and caused considerable deaths. Erisu recommended that a Demon warship engage the CM battleship that was firing the rockets. Keyoto agrees. Soon after Keyoto gives that order, another southern invasion by the CM is reported. Keyoto sends Edosu and Demon Estrada down there to counter that attack. Keyoto, Gen. Hiroto and Yellow Demon continue to monitor the situation from their headquarters.

On August 24, Erisu and Demon Devin report that the northern defenses have held and the attacks have lessoned. Keyoto sends more troops to the south as reports indicate fierce fighting and heavy casualties on both sides. Later that afternoon, the Demon warship exchanges rocket fire with one CM warship, this would continue well into the night. As Keyoto was turning his attention onto the south and the sea, he is given a report that saboteurs have blown up one water tower and several of the troop barracks have been burned. Yellow Demon looks into the report and finds that the Shockers have been behind this. He orders more guards to protect the other, remaining water tower and the Demon headquarters. YD orders all saboteur activity to be reported to him. Gen. Hiroto is given a casualty report and finds that nearly 1600 Demon troops have perished during the first days of the attack. Keyoto worries that a prolonged attack could devastate his troops.

On August 25, a Demon supply ship is intercepted by a CM battleship. The ship is revealed to have nearly 1000 Demon troops from the Demon homeland. A fierce fight between these two ships occurs but the Demon ship is quickly overridden. CLG Adams orders the ship returned to a CM port and all Demon troops aboard to be sent to the CM base, for execution. While searching the ship, CM troops find a note for YD from Juki Wu, It is sent to Adams. When Keyoto finds that the supply ship, with re-enforcement, has been captured, he erupts into a  rage. He also gets reports that the pirate ship has attacked the Demon warship and it's taken heavy damages. Keyoto orders the use of fire bombs, launched from the top of the Demon mountain, via rockets, to help rebuff the CM forces as they land on the beach. Erisu reports his troops have remained strong but many need to be relieved for rest after fighting several days without sleep. Also, several huge fires are reported to have been started near the smoke pits on Demon mountain. YD investigates.

Keyoto gets reports on August 26, that the Demon troops that have been sent to the CM base are being executed in a mass rally. CLG leader Guyers has okayed a rally in which the CLG appointed church leader, Rev. Winkler, 51, has begun crucifying the many Demon prisoners from the captured supply ship. Keyoto is furious. He demands no mercy for any CM troops that are captured. Hiroto and YD are absolutely horrified at the fate of their troops that have been captured. Keyoto later gets reports that the fire bombs have helped repeal the CM troops but one bomb misfired and killed many of Edosu's personal troops. He orders YD to look-over the fire bomb rockets as he worries about needless Demon casualties. Keyoto also gets reports that the pirate ship has landed near the main docks and the pirates have come ashore, fighting the Demon troops. Hiroto orders Demon Devin to leave Erisu and to head the attack on the pirates. As YD investigates the rockets, he is given confirmation that Shocker Blaze is on the island. Keyoto knows this will be a long, bloody battle for survival.....
