Enter the Crimson Eye II

Four months have passed since Chin Mao Bei sent Kiya to the Garwara nation at the bequest of Union Republic President Yatoshi. Chin Mao Bei has returned to his remote island to contemplate his next move. His agent Amhenti Ra had recently returned with news of his victory over the Black Ninja clan and it's leader Jill Matsmoti. Chin Mao Bei has requested Amhenti to issue him a full report on his actions.

Amhenti joins Chin Mao Bei in his garden and gives a full description his mission. Amhenti tells of how he came onto the Black Ninja clans' main compound (with Yatoshi's tips). Amhenti tells of how he used rockets to start his assault on the compound and how he single handily confronted over forty of the top Black Ninja. Chin Mao Bei asks, "Do you mean to tell me you took on the entire clan of that location by yourself, your skill alone?" Amhenti, with a sinister grin says, "They were so unprepared for such an attack I was able to cut them down as they ran out of that burning temple. Some ran without fighting. They were not worthy of my talents." Chin Mao Bei looks at his blooming roses and asks, "What of their leader Jill Matsmoti? Was she killed?" Amhenti says, "I engaged that blonde vixen as I entered the burning compound. She was by far the most worthy fighter of the these ninja. She asked for my name but I would not grant her that honor. As the building burned we fought. She was able to get some good blows to me. I have never come upon a girl who could fight so savagely. She was cornered in that burning building and she fought me like a mighty lioness defending her cubs. I was able to ensnare her, making her unable to hold her sword and beat upon her with what was left of my old trident. A rage from her brewed as I toyed with her....pushing her toward her doom. Her face reddened with fury, her strength evident as I finished my task."

Chin Mao Bei asks, "Did you kill her Amhenti? Where is her head?" Amhenti says, "I tossed her into a deep pit within the burning compound. Her cold blue eyes, her tousled blonde mane, her red face were the last of what I saw of her she fell into the dark abyss. I had assumed the fires or smoke would have killed her. Early the next day I searched the ruins. I found many skulls, but none of them seemed to match. Chin Mao Bei simmers, "You tell me you let her escape?! She is one of Lord Zando's top kunoichi, a clan leader within his empire." Amhenti replies, "Master, I'm certain she perished. I had her tightly bound in that snare. She would trash with an raw, unnatural strength, but could not break the binds I had trapped her within. I could not have seen as to how she could have broken free and survived." Chin Mao Bei roars, "You bring me more trouble. If she survived, I will have a revenge seeker to tend to. Never 'toy' with your foe, even if you are the victor. Your work has been sloppy." Amhenti states with growing anger, "Master, I killed over forty of that clan...many of their best men and you are angry that their girl leader may have survived?" Chin Mao Bei turns and shouts, "Leave me at once. Let's hope Kiya is doing better then you with this mission!" Amhenti walks away, simmering.

For these many months Kiya and her party have been housed in Gen. Adams' remote villa, far from the sight of Lord Zando and the CM hierarchy. Adams has treated Kiya as a private trophy, showing her only to those he respects or wishes to impress. Kiya, with her charms, have woven a web around Adams. On hearing news that Jill Matsmoti has disappeared, Kiya soon asks if she can travel to see Lord Zando and the other hierarchy. Adams is resistant, believing that certain foes of his will imprison or harm Kiya. Kiya insist that she will be safe and her devotion toward him is true and that she is his to command. After some thought, Adams agrees to bring Kiya to the palace to see Lord Zando and his court.

Later that week Gen. Adams, Kiya and her traveling party arrive at the court of Lord Zando. Adams is aware of the common protocol that dictates that all "women of entertainment" presented to the Lord must undress to his wishes. Kiya is fully aware of this and states she is willing to do this, but Adams believes with her tattoos and dyed skin, she could be at greater risk within the CM court and the soldiers can become frenzied with just the slightest abnormality. Kiya knows she has to take this risk.

Late in the evening, Adams, Kiya, her son Li and her daughter Yokiro enter the court. Lord Zando is seated on a throne with two guards to his sides. Zando is wearing large glasses and is reading a book as they enter. To his left is Master Ninja Yamada and Gen. Hammerstein and several other ladies of the court. These ladies are the Lord's servants as Adams explains upon their arrival. Kiya looks around the room at the treasures. One wall is covered with golden skulls of the many that have fallen to the CM forces. Mask of a defeated clan are also represented. A courtier soon announces Adams and Kiya's presents to Lord Zando. Zando welcomes Adams and briefly glances at Kiya. Kiya is almost insulted by the brief eye contact. Adams soon talks to Zando regard the Black Ninja massacre as Kiya and her two eldest children stand in this giant room....a room of power. Even insulted by Zando's brief attention, her veins are full of adrenaline as she feels the power of this room. Soon Yamada comes to her and introduces himself as "the mighty Master Ninja Yamada" . He is intensely enchanted by her bizarre looks and graceful nature. He looks into her eyes and says, "Lady Kiya, you are worthy of this court. I know of your past with Chin Mao Bei and I know  that you are his blossom. Will you dance for us?" Kiya says shyly, "Master Yamada, if Master Adams and Lord Zando wish me to dance, it would be an honour indeed!"  Adams, Hammerstein and Lord Zando talk privately for half an hour as Yamada stares at Kiya, bewildered by her looks.

As soon as Adams' meeting is over, Yamada whisper something to Lord Zando. Zando looks up and looks to Kiya. Zando whispers to a courtier and the court spokesman. Adams knows what is about to take place and looks at Kiya with unease. The spokesman then asks all male soldiers, a very few, to leave as an "inspection" is to take place. Adams says to Kiya, "You will have to undress and Lord Zando will 'inspect you'. Be thankful he has little interest in women at this time of his life." Kiya knows of this custom and stands ready. A courtier demands that she undress, but to Kiya's surprise, Yokiro is also ordered to undress. Kiya looks to her daughter but Yokiro follows the orders. Yi has left the room with rage as his mother and sister are treated in such a manor. Adams is angered that Yamada ordered this "event", knowing Zando has no interest in Kiya and especially Yokiro. Zando walks around the nude ladies with some interest of her odd looks, but seems more interested in the meal that is being placed on the table not to far away. Zando waves for them  to dress as Yamada walks toward Kiya. He says, "You shall dance for us before too long. You shall she how limited Adams is and will soon know who holds the true power within this empire. You seek power and I can give that to you." Adams soon returns with Yi and is furious with Yamada. He tells Yamada, "Your attention to Kiya is unworthy. Leave us to dine with the Lord." Yamada laughs and says, "I shall leave, but your lady will accompany me." Adams snarls, "She shall not. You are a ninja......barely. Crossing me would be unwise." Yamada grabs Kiya's hand and says, "This lady who thirst for the powerful will soon see to whom that title rightfully belongs." Adams shouts, "Your power is as fluid and pungent as the urine running down your legs..." Yamada and Adams bickering begins to annoy Lord Zando and he sends all parties away as he dines with Gen. Hammerstein and a few religious leaders. Kiya glances at Yamada with wonderment as she has found a fresh target......
